Japanese Sake Labels

Held at LOFT Umeda in Osaka from 2015/12/8 to 2016/1/13, twenty eight artists created and exhibited original sake label designs. During the exhibition sixty bottles were sold for 888yen each, with proceeds going to the victims of the Eastern Japan earthquake of 2011.

For the event I collaborated with the Japanese Sake company Kikuzakari, and designed a label for them for a limited run product.

Using creatures from Japanese folk tales as inspiration, I designed the label above, which was then added to sake bottles using screen printing.
