Mother and Child
I like to draw illustrations related to stories – for picture books, novels, and movies. I also like to travel abroad, and have been to more than 20 countries. When I travel, I always bring my sketchbook with me, and sketch the people, flora and fauna I see. I worked on a series heavily influenced by some of the plants and animals I’ve seen during my travels. I call the series ‘Mother and Child’.
絵本や小説、映画など物語に関連するイラストを描くのが得意です。海外旅行が好きで、これまで20カ国以上を旅してきました。旅行する時には必ずスケッチブックを持参し、その国でしか出逢えない人や動植物を書き溜めます。この「母子」シリーズは、こうした中で生まれたイラストレーションです。
